30 Rockefeller Plaza

It was a spur-of-the-moment decision. My first visit to the Rockefeller Centre, in 2015.

Declared a national historic landmark in 1987, the Rockefeller Centre in midtown Manhattan is a large complex consisting of 19 high-rise commercial buildings covering 22 acres between 48th and 51st Streets, NYC.
The plaza outside the Rockefeller Centre. In winter this space is transformed into an ice rink.
Inside the Rockefeller Centre this dramatic ceiling mural depicts heroic-sized Titans who symbolize the three aspects of time: Past, Present and Future.
A poster advertising The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in the Rockefeller Centre lobby. The show is filmed in one of the Rockefeller Centre’s many studios.
While waiting for the lift to the top, visitors can learn about the building’s history.
